In Her Element is Akijul’s flagship inquiry: a practice-based inquiry into how women build the capabilities, confidence and community to navigate transition — especially midlife — and create meaningful next chapters in an AI-shaped world. It begins with women’s lived experience, starts in East Africa with an Africa-wide horizon, and works through a simple method: learn, experiment, reflect.
